I was traveling by local bus last week, the bus conductor refused to take a biscuit from a passenger; he said for the last seven years he was not taking sweets on account of the diabetes.  It is amazing to know his self control.  Lower middle income group and lower income group in India they have understood the core of  this disorder, they are exercising macro control, which is very good.

Rich and upper middle class always want to eat more and drink junk food thinking medication will overcome the disorder.

Doctors prescribe medicine only. On your next visit they prescribe additional dosage. Today doctors they spare few minutes on a diabetic. It is YOU should help yourself to moderate your blood sugar.

Our earlier club manager was enthusiastic when he was diagnosed as diabetic; he was always with accucheck to check his sugar now and then.He was wasting Rs 20K per month. He was aghast.

Yoga did bring self control in me
particularly my eating routine and not prompting on talking.

TALK LESS MORE ACTION CONSERVE ENERGY


Every diabetic should conserve body energy to moderate the blood sugar.

For non diabetic excess glucose in the blood is stored for the future use.  But for diabetics excess sugar in the blood is not converted and stored.  Hence the extra sugar is partly let out through urines.

Since you are eating cooked  or salad, naturally you will be eating right quantity

Way of eating

Chew the food and swallow the food has become liquified

In short run high blood sugar

* affects your efficiency of the work.  For an athlete, his grip on bat or ball will not be firm

* your alertness in the office work will be down

Continue your medicine, continue this week end plan.  Monitor your sugar levels

You can observe tremendous improvements in the blood sugar range.
