I wondered, why you are so against donating money to charity, why are they dubious? Have you had a bad experience donating to one? I am cautious, donating money through a third party and understand the 'big boys' are overpaid in charities, for example the board of directors, but I think some charities are essential to the world. With the Government making more and more cuts they take on the burden of helping people. Food banks for example give the homeless something eat and Macmillian nurses have provided great support to terminally ill patients. I think the world would be a lot worse of without them.
