Sedentary life, most of the foods sold in DEPARTMENTAL STORES are processed junk food, you try to satisfy your tongue prompts,
Where it can lead except diabetes.  If you are a diabetic, more compounded is the situation.

Beware your stomach doesn't like ice creams nor your skeleton likes cold beverages.   Very few young Indians are teetotallers . Hard drinks are malt based, even a peg will shoot your blood sugar.

SELF HELP IS THE BEST HELP



Doctors prescribe medicine only. On your next visit they prescribe additional dosage. Today doctors they spare few minutes on a diabetic. It is YOU should help yourself to moderate your blood sugar.

Our earlier club manager was enthusiastic when he was diagnosed as diabetic; he was always with accucheck to check his sugar now and then.He was wasting Rs 20K per month. He was aghast.

Ayurveda says get to the root cause of the disease. Though diabetes is not a disease but a disorder, one should know how this happens.

Normal person's blood always have one spoon of glucose. Excess is stored by cells. In a diabetic, excess glucose remains in the blood, since cells get Inadequate insulin or cells are insulin resistant. Medicines either enable more insulin secretion or burn the l excess carbo ingested.

Now universal realisation is that lifestyle to be different.



To conclude a diabetic had to be a Green Vegan.

I invest an hour daily in yoga practice six days in a week. My yoga routine included warm-up, few suryd

namaskar.  Followed by simple asanas.  I practise following advanced asanas:

        SIRASASANA
         TRIPOD INVERSION
          CROW POSE
           BRIDGE POSE
            SCORPION POSE

Yoga did bring self control in me
particularly my eating routine and not prompting on talking.

Moderating blood sugar can be achieved through self control with the practice of yoga.

ONLY exercises can't overcome or moderate blood sugar. Right diet is very essential.
If you combine right diet with exercise, you can feel the FIRE in the belly.   You will excel in your work and sports.  Your whole body will be efficient and effective in optimising energy.
You are ready for long hours of work , nice sleep, precise in your communication.  What else you need?  Life is beautiful being a diabetic.




AVOID BEATEN TRACK

If you're in the family of diabetics you tend to think medication is the only solution for diabetes.  That's beaten track.  Since you are taking medicines you may take things for granted.

Beware medicine is not a solution, but your lifestyle modification is a must.
